Cert. 12A. On 15th January 2009, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) attempted an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River after US Airways Flight 1549 struck a flock of geese. Miraculously, all 155 passengers and crew survived, and Sullenberger became a national hero in the eyes of the public and the media.
